Fresh Wind

I can certainly admit that I’ve asked God to blow a Fresh Wind on me, my family, my house, my direction, my understanding, perception, and wisdom.

I’ve needed Jesus to make my way so clear that a child can understand, And, even if that isn’t clear enough for me make it to where I can understand without shadow of any doubt.

Because I’m fully aware that I can miss the mark quite often, not intentionally.

However, who needs God to Blow a Fresh Wind their way, on clarity, on some family situations, on a spouse, on the job situation, or on your finances?

Where can Jesus come in and let His presence be known?

Well, may I suggest to you that is exactly what He wants to do in our life.

Send a Fresh Wind.

When I think of a Fresh Wind, I’m inclined to think of a sailboat. You know a sailboat cannot sail without wind and the proper positioning of the aerodynamic lift and hydrodynamic resistance / pressure.

Ironically, pressure is the difference, the sail is angled correctly to the wind, air moves faster across the outer curve of the sail. So, without the pressure the wind will not push the sail.

Inevitably, we cannot get our second wind without lift and pressure.

The pressures in life are there to thrust us into our next season.

The word of God speaks of a Fresh Wind…Act. 2:2 states,

“Suddenly a sound like the blowing off a violent wind came from the whole house where they were sitting.” This is when the disciples received the Holy Spirit.

Jesus wants to shake up some things that have been lying dormant, those things we have forgotten. Those things we have put down because nothing happened at the time, we thought it should.

He is sending a Refreshing our way to remind us of his faithfulness.

Refresh us in a way that we feel the difference, and others notice the difference between us.

Remove our limited thought processes, or narrow vision of His plans for our lives.

Refresh us in a way that challenges the negative perceptions, and influences.

Our Prayer:

Move us by your Holy Spirit that we are sensitive to what you desire to do in and through us in this season.

Where we are feeling heaviness and burdens Jesus, let your wind blow in us and through us. Let us feel your wind on our back pushing us toward destiny.

“Restore to me the Joy that comes from being saved by you. Give me a spirit that obeys you so that I will keep going.” (Psalm 51:12)
